Our 2015 Gala was held on Saturday, April 25 at the Downtown Raleigh Marriott with 350 guests gathering to celebrate the great works of Catholic Charities. Through the generosity of many sponsors and guests, over $233,000 was raised to further our mission of serving those in need throughout Eastern North Carolina. On Saturday, April 18, Catholic Parish Outreach (CPO) hosted its 2nd Annual Pig Pickin’ and Open House! With a guided tour through the food pantry, guests had the opportunity to learn more about the food distribution, experiences from volunteers, and client stories. At the end of the tour, guests enjoyed delicious pork, hush puppies, coleslaw, and potato salad prepared by the Sacred Heart Cathedral Knights of Columbus. The Catholic Charities Fayetteville Office hosted “A Chocolate Affair… to Remember” fundraiser on Thursday, January 29th. Guests were invited to the beautiful Skyview on Hay to enjoy live music, food, and a live and silent auction. This annual event raises money to support services that help families obtain financial self-sufficiency and maintain proper health and safety.
