Organization Overview

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh is committed to serving the most vulnerable individuals and families throughout central and eastern North Carolina. Guided by the Catholic tradition of social justice, our mission is to provide help, create hope, and serve all people, regardless of faith or background. We trace our history back to 1899 when a Catholic Orphanage was established in Raleigh.

We offer a range of comprehensive programs, including Disaster Services, Food Pantry Services, and Immigration Legal Services, all designed to promote stability and empower individuals toward self-sufficiency. Our success is fueled by the dedication of our volunteers, donors, and community partners, making Catholic Charities a trusted organization for the transforming lives of our neighbors in need.

Whether you’re interested in volunteering, donating, or simply learning more, we invite you to join us in serving others with dignity, compassion, and love. Together, we can make a lasting impact on our local communities.
