The Department of Justice (DOJ) Accredited Representative will provide quality legal immigration services to clients and general immigration information presentations to parish and community groups.
Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal abilities are essential, along with a demonstrated capacity to work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Candidates should be comfortable working with parishes and other community groups and must hold accreditation with the Department of Justice. A working knowledge of relevant immigration software is required, as well as proven computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and the Immigration Services website. A strong commitment to Catholic social teachings and the mission of Catholic Charities is expected. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S., possess a valid NC driver’s license, and have access to a reliable vehicle for business use. This role may involve travel and occasional work beyond the regular schedule, including evenings and weekends.
