2021 CPO Christmas Cards
This Christmas, we ask that you consider a meaningful gift for the special people in your life. CPO is again offering a Christmas honor card that speaks to the true meaning of Christmas. This year’s card is a beautiful print of The Three Wise Men bearing gifts for Jesus following the North Star created by a young CPO volunteer. It is a fitting gift for your friends and family members while helping make the holidays more secure for those in great need in our community due to the ongoing pandemic.
How it works:
– Provide us with the names and addresses of those you would like to honor.
– For a minimum of $10.00 per card, we will send a beautiful color Christmas honor card to them.
– If you prefer to mail the cards yourself, let us know how many cards you would like using this Form and email it to Kelly.Rappl@ccharitiesdor.org.
– Your gift may qualify as a charitable tax-deductible gift for federal income tax purposes.
It’s so simple…yet so powerful.
Your Donation at Work
This year we received a donation from a former client, named Raegen, that made the phrase “Where God Guides, He Provides” so true at CPO! I had an inspiring conversation with her while thanking her for the contribution. Her strength and grace showed through all she said, as she shared her story with me about how God had laid it on her heart to contribute to CPO since Covid-19 has been such a tumultuous time for so many! She wanted to support the organization that blessed her during her personal experience of an extremely trying time of illness and financial challenges. Her experience with us was so positive that it made a difficult time easier for her to get through. She said the food was of amazing quality and met her special dietary needs, which was a huge blessing. But just as important, everyone greeted her with a smile and the atmosphere was very welcoming for everyone.
We have served enough food to feed nearly 90,000 people with almost 2 weeks of groceries since the beginning of the pandemic and the number is growing daily! During this pandemic it has become clear how much our neighbors are in great need! In North Carolina, 1 in 7 people are food insecure and 1 in 5 children face hunger. With the supply chain issues / subsequent shortages, inflation, and variant issues many still are struggling to recover. Please consider donating to help our neighbors in need. God Bless You and Stay Safe!
