We work with our community relationships to provide assistance for safety and health needs families may have. Some examples are:
- Assisting families to enroll in an appropriate medical insurance program or Medicaid
- Connecting families with a primary care physician to establish a medical home or with a specialist to address a specific medical issue
- Assisting families to enroll in other assistance programs, through the Benefits Bank, for which they might be eligible
- Screening young children for development delays, hearing, or other special needs
- Securing a car seat for a family with a new infant
- Assessing with a family ways to improve household safety for toddlers and other family members, for example using electrical outlet covers, repairing front steps, etc.
