Family casework/case management

Catholic Charities Family Support Services family case managers can provide family-centered, goal-directed work. The case management relationship lasts as long as there are family-identified goals that can be accomplished with the support of the case manager. This role often includes advocacy with or for families so that families get access to needed services or resources. Also, the case manager plays the important role of supporting and motivating the family to continue to work to achieve the goals that have been set. In this offering of hope when a situation seems hopeless, the relationship the family develops with a case manager is critical to some families achieving success with their goals.
