On Friday November 20th, the United Way will be hosting the Homeless & Hunger Stand Down. At this event, various organizations will be assisting individuals experiencing homeless by providing clothing, personal hygiene items, free haircuts, free flu shots, job placement assistance, health and dental screenings, veteran assistance, housing assistance, and educational assistance.
Catholic Charities staff will be distributing coats and personal hygiene items as part of this effort. Individuals participating in the event will also be encouraged to set up a meeting with Catholic Charities case managers who can assist with additional needs.
