April 16th Tornados
Catholic Charities is vitally involved in responding to recent disasters in eastern North Carolina. In Wake, Bertie, Lee and Wake Counties Catholic Charities regional directors and family case managers have responded to the tornados which impacted these areas in April. We are or have been involved with staff and volunteers from American Red Cross, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Salvation Army and NC Baptist Men, United Methodist Committee on Relief and Catholic Charities USA, as well as many other groups to assess and develop individual plans for families to recovery from these tornados.

Hurricane Irene
Since Hurricane Irene’s landfall on August 26th Catholic Charities has been responding with many partners, including seevral parishes throughout the counties affected.
