Welcome to the website of the New Bern Region of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh. We are a team of vibrant professionals and volunteers who are ready to work with you, your family, your parish, and your community in a variety of ways. We work in the seven counties surrounding New Bern: Beaufort, Carteret, Craven, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow and Pamlico.

We provide services to and work with all people regardless of their faith tradition, and would welcome volunteers and donations to help us with our efforts. We are “Providing Help and Creating Hope” by advocating for social and economic justice and providing direct services within the New Bern area.

*This program provides assistance to ages 60 and over who experience a chronic illness, through vouchers to be redeemed at participating pharmacies, for seniors to purchase prescription medications. The program also assists seniors to access both Patience Assistance Programs (PAP) from pharmaceutical companies and the Seniors Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP)
